1. Overview
visainterview.in is operated by Seqnova Ventures LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India with its office in Mohali, Punjab. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean Seqnova Ventures LLP. References to “the service” mean the visainterview.in website, web application, and related features.
This Refund Policy works alongside our Terms of Use. Where the two overlap, the Terms of Use govern.
2. Nature of the service
visainterview.in is a digital preparation platform. When you pay for access, you immediately begin consuming the service: your account is provisioned, practice sessions can be started, AI-generated questions and feedback are produced on demand, and our infrastructure and AI providers are billed on your behalf from the first interaction.
Because each practice session, evaluation, and voice rendering consumes compute and third-party credits at the moment it runs, the service is treated as a digital good that is delivered and consumed in real time. It cannot be returned or un-used.
3. No refunds policy
All payments to visainterview.in are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for:
- Completed or partially completed practice sessions.
- Time remaining on a subscription period after you stop using the service.
- Plans purchased and then unused, or unused credits within a plan.
- Features you did not use, whether by choice or because your interview date passed.
- Any reason related to the outcome of your actual visa interview, including refusal, administrative processing, cancellation, or postponement by a U.S. consulate.
- Changes in your travel plans, study plans, employment plans, or personal circumstances.
The absence of a refund does not waive any rights you may have under Indian consumer law that cannot be waived by contract.
4. Billing errors and duplicate charges
The no-refund rule in Section 3 applies to service that has been delivered. Billing errors are different. We will correct the following at no cost to you:
- Duplicate charges for the same transaction caused by a payment gateway retry or a network error.
- Charges made after you cancelled, where the cancellation was confirmed in writing or through your account settings before the next billing date.
- Charges for the wrong amount due to a clear pricing or display error on our side.
- Charges for a plan you did not purchase, resulting from a system fault on our side.
These reversals are corrections of erroneous charges, not refunds of delivered service. We will reverse the erroneous charge to the original payment method where possible. Where the original method cannot accept a reversal, we may issue an equivalent account credit.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time from your account settings or by writing to us. Cancellation:
- Stops all future billing from the next billing date.
- Does not refund or pro-rate the current billing period.
- Preserves your access until the end of the period already paid for, after which your plan reverts to any free tier we offer, or your account becomes inactive.
One-time purchases (for example a single plan or session pack) cannot be cancelled once the payment is processed, because the entitlement is added to your account immediately.
7. Account credits
In limited, discretionary cases, and where we choose to do so as a goodwill gesture, we may apply an account credit instead of a refund. Account credits:
- Are issued at our sole discretion and are not a guarantee or an entitlement.
- Can be used only within visainterview.in, against our paid features.
- Are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and expire 12 months after issue unless we say otherwise.
8. Taxes
Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other statutory taxes are charged on top of the listed price and remitted to the relevant tax authority. Taxes paid to the authority are non-refundable by us. In the event of a corrected charge under Section 4, the tax component will be adjusted together with the principal amount where the law allows.
9. How to request a correction
To report a duplicate charge, unauthorised charge, or other billing error, write to hello@visainterview.in within 30 days of the charge. Include:
- Your registered email address.
- The date, amount, and last four digits of the card or UPI ID used.
- A short description of the issue and any supporting evidence (for example a bank statement entry, a screenshot of a duplicated payment confirmation).
We aim to respond to billing queries within five working days. Investigations that require cooperation from a bank or payment gateway may take longer.
10. Chargebacks
Before filing a chargeback with your card network, please contact us first. Most billing issues are resolved faster and more cleanly through direct correspondence.
If a chargeback is filed for a charge that we can document as corresponding to delivered service, we reserve the right to contest it with evidence (session logs, access records, usage timestamps), and to suspend or terminate the associated account in accordance with our Terms of Use.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mohali and Chandigarh, Punjab.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date. Your continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
